Moen faucets are used in many homes and businesses. They are well-known for their high quality and durability. Moen is the leading name in bathroom products in the United States. Moen faucets are designed to last for decades with proper care. One of the best ways to make sure your Moen Faucet operates properly is to be able to find its model number from inside the unit, without having to take it apart or go online. This can help you know if your faucet will be compatible with your sink’s current design. Here are some clues that will help you figure out how to find your model number.

How to Find Your Model Number
Look for a sticker inside the faucet that has an initial or company name on it.
For example, on Moen’s website, there is a “Find My Faucet Model Number” button. When you click on this, you will see a drop-down menu with all of their most popular models listed. If you select the model number and click the “Find My Faucet” button, it will give you detailed information about your faucet.
If there is no sticker in your faucet, but it still says Moen on it, look for a serial number written somewhere other than the product packaging. This could be anywhere from the bottom of the unit to the underside of its handle. The serial number might also have an easily identifiable pattern or color that can help determine which model number your faucet is from.
Moen Faucet Types
If you can’t find the model number on the outside of your faucet, look for the type of faucet that it is. There are three different types of Moen Faucets:
- Flow Rate Control Faucets
- Aerator Faucets
Knowing which type of faucet your Moen is will help you figure out if there is a model number printed on the inside of your unit. For example, if you have a Flow Rate Control Faucet, there will be a model number printed on the inside of your unit. If not, check online or contact the manufacturer to find out what type of Moen Faucet it is.
What Does the Model Number Say?
The model number typically appears on the inside of your Moen faucet. The model number is also located on the packaging that came with your faucet. It will look something like “MOF6811.”
Now that you know what the model number looks like, take a look at where you can find it and how to read it. As previously mentioned, there are two ways to find your model number. One way is by looking at your current faucet and seeing if it has a sticker or label with the model number on it. If you need help finding that sticker or label, contact Moen customer service or visit their website for more information. Another way is to open up your existing faucet and locate the model number on one of the valves near the handle. This valve typically says “Moen – Model #.” Look for this valve on one of your valves near the handle in order to read the appropriate model number for your current faucet’s hardware.
If you are unable to find the model number from either option provided above, there are two other ways to figure out which Moen product you have:
1) Search online by entering “Moen Faucet Model Number” into Google where you can see a list of all the models available
2) Contact Moen customer service through telephone or email
If you’re looking for the Moen Faucet Model Number, you may not be able to find it on the faucet itself. It’s most likely on the underside of the faucet where you can see it when you take off the handle. If you can’t see your model number there, or if you don’t have a handle on your faucet, check the Moen website for your model number or contact customer service.
